>2005 Studebaker National Car Meet – Observation Run

Filed under: General Interest — Lea @ 5:45 pm

On Sunday we had the mandatory observation run.

We lived in Adelaide for long enough that it was very pleasant just to drive around and see the sights, but we put the effort into the questions.

Didn’t place, though… (enough grumbling! We never place on these things!)

Afterwards we went through the National Motoring Museum at Birdwood as we had free entry and had a very nice lunch.

After we got back to the Village we went and saw Brenton and set up the presentation for the evening meal, as Dave was running the projector to display the pictures for the announcements of the winner of the Concourse.

We even got called up to be applauded and thanked for helping with the meet, when I don’t really think we did that much. But its nice to be thanked.

Our meet badges had us marked as South Australian. I think they have us tagged as honorary South Australians for life.

Dinner that night was very nice.
